There is an unusual wealth of material, including academic and WP:RS, gathered here at what appears to be a family genealogy website (i.e. it might go offline). It is already listed in the external links, but I thought I'd flag it here for anyone who has watchlisted this page. it never ceases to amaze me, how many cultural figures were so significant in their day, and are now virtually unknown.
