I've made some improvements to this stub such as defining beachcombing in intro sentence but their are other improvements that could be made such as:

Great Beachcombing here ,Huntington Beach, California lots of stuff washs onshore. Think Tide and current "drifts" measured too by beachcombing certain areas. Andreisme ( talk) 19:52, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
In Richard Henry Dana, Jr.'s Two Years Before the Mast (1840) the term beachcomber is used to describe the Sandwich Islanders present on the California Coast at San Pedro.
