Same with Battle of Lyncestis: without a decent citation this will sonner or latter go to afd. Alexikoua ( talk) 11:01, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
You almost had me convinced that you were talking seriously, but now I think that you're kidding. Have you any source to support that curious opinion? If you can't find a voice on Google, this doesn't mean that it never existed! Since Polybius refers the place of the battle as "off Paxoi" (using the plural because there is also Antipaxos), it is historiographic standard procedure to name it like that. Check Margos of Keryneia and you will find that every description of his career, from Polybius on, states that he ended his life in the "Battle of Paxos". I don't think that it is useful that you put tags like "complete citation needed" on notes that are completely matching. If you don't understand the scientific citation system of ancient sources you might simply refrain from putting tags on those articles!-- Hyphantes ( talk) 14:17, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
Nothing of what you state is true, neither assumed in the article, nor suggested. If anybody is pushing povs here it is you. As a start, Corfu is an Italian name from the Medieval era. It has absolutely nothing to do in this article, otherwise we'll start writing that Constantine chose Istanbul as his new capital for the Roman Empire. I would ask you to revert these pov denominations asap, otherwise I'll be forced to revert your edits on the whole. But I don't want to be totally negative, so I have to say that I'm pleased to see that you studied a bit. Now cool down a bit more. Don't be ridiculous: No Illyrian will come along claiming Corfu for Albania, because they possessed it for a month or two in 229 BC.-- Hyphantes ( talk) 18:29, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
You started threatening afd procedure, but now you're laying a lot of effort in this article. That's good!-- Hyphantes ( talk) 23:09, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
