Command

I always thought that the Parliamentarian forces at Nantwich were principally under Sir William Brereton, the Major General for Cheshire, not Fairfax. I may however be wrong in this respect. user:sjc

Ah. Fairfax led the relieving forces, Brereton commanded the besieged town. user:sjc
