The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that Māori warriors captured Russell, New Zealand, in the 1845 Battle of Kororareka from the British, who were then evacuated by an American ship? I've removed from the infobox the listing of the USA as a "belligerent" in this battle. While the article notes that a US Navy ship aided in the evacuation, there is no mention of the US military playing any sort of combat role in this conflict. - Helvetica ( talk) 20:51, 2 July 2014 (UTC) reply
