Merger into Operation Buffalo

As this was the opening engagement of Operation Buffalo (1967) it should be merged into that page. Mztourist ( talk) 08:32, 27 October 2011 (UTC) reply

Concur. Can't see any good reason to keep this separate. Both articles are pretty weak, and merging would help the main article. Intothatdarkness ( talk) 16:17, 9 May 2012 (UTC) reply

Agree on the goal; disagree on how to get there. The only info on the "Operation Buffalo" page has to do with this one battle, so the two need to be merged. But IMO, they need to be merged here under this title, because even if this content is put into the "Buffalo" page, it would still leave 13 days of the operation unaccounted for. The "Buffalo" page, again IMO, should be deleted. If and when full information on it gets written up, a newer and more appropriate "Operation Buffalo" page could be added.

Operation Buffalo is actually a bit wider than just the 2 July action - it details the full order of battle and casualties. I have already moved most of the detail here to the Operation Buffalo page and will expand Operation Buffalo further. Mztourist ( talk) 12:07, 23 July 2013 (UTC) reply
