Vladimir Vazov

In the introduction he's a colonel
In the 'Commanders' box his rank is not mentioned at all
In the picture caption he's a general, (thus out-ranking a Major-General, see below)
In the 'battle' section, para 6, he's promoted to Major-General

I think there is a slight case of inconsistency here - I'd fix it myself but the only reference I have doesn't even mention this battle!

When he took command of the 9th division in March 1917 he was a colonel but on 20 April the same year he was promoted to Major-General and after the war in 1929 he was promoted to Liutenant-General.-- Avidius ( talk) 20:51, 7 November 2009 (UTC) reply

Casualties

In the Casualties box, the statistic for British casualties is always modified to a ridiculous number. It is often the cause of "Edit Wars" here.

It would be excellent if moderators or admins protected this page! ( talk 14:10 23 January 2020 (Australian Eastern Standard Time) —Preceding undated comment added 03:12, 23 January 2020 (UTC) reply

To be honest, I agree with the first editor. This page reads a bit like a flight of fantasy. Are there any more reputable sources, preferably English-language ones? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.210.188.173 ( talk) 03:26, 23 January 2021 (UTC) reply
