I've trimmed this section, which had a large piece about
Elmer Charles Bigelow's actions on USS Fletcher; it seemed to give
undue weight to a single action in a general article.
OTOH the Bigelow article didn’t have all this information, so it would have made more sense if the two accounts were swapped over.
So that's what I've done.

Is there such a word as 'triphibious'?('Aftermath', para 4). It sounds like a word that George W. Bush might make up, like 'misunderestimate'! I couldn't find it in three (British English) dictionaries - is it an Americanism?
Changing the subject somewhat, this article, like the ' Battle of Corregidor' offering, could do with a half decent map showing the island's position in relation to Manila and the rest of the Philipines.
