This article has been checked against the following criteria for B-class status:
Gog the Mild - to be honest I cannot remember. I did a search and the following list leader as John:
A complete history of England, Volume 2, Tobias George Smollett, 1758. page 471.
Volume 2 of The Acts and Monuments of John Foxe: a New and Complete Edition: with a Preliminary Dissertation, by the Rev. George Townsend, Stephen Reed Cattley. John Foxe. R. B. Seeley and W. Burnside, 1837. page 699.
These are both old sources and maybe a note needs to be added to show the differing identification of leader of French forces. A French source would be good to find. I would also be interested in who led the English relief force. Regards

It seems unlikely that it was John, he had a major argument with his father and wasn't attending court. Charles was the new Constable (senior military official) and so he is who one would expect to be leading the force.
Notwithstanding, if you have a source for John, you should use it to cite his mention in the infobox.
