Would including sources from local newspapers (e.g. Basingstoke Gazette) make these sufficiently notable? They were also mentioned on regional news and in a national documentary. If so, as someone who was affected, I could do a little bit of work on a section under 'Recent History'. Crowqueen ( talk) 21:20, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
The built up subdivision of Basingstoke was 107,355 in 2011 (see [1]) and the agglomeration as almost 110,000. Shouldn't there be a Line in the infobox that recognises the Urban Area as this is quite a bit bigger than the settlement and most people nowadays would consider Lychpit and Chineham as part of Basingstoke. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Subtlemammoth ( talk • contribs) 17:33, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
