This article might now be deleted, as superseded by the current version of Pure Theory of Law. Links to it in Jurisprudence and Hans Kelsen should then also be removed. --Wikiain 02:27, 19 June 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikiain ( talk • contribs)
David (DGG): you have removed my "Proposed Deletion" template (5 March) after only a day and a half, thereby depriving myself and others of an opportunity for discussion. I regret that you have done this in an area that you do not seem to know about and which I do know about - I have published several scholarly articles on this subject and have identified myself as the author of the WP article "Pure Theory of Law". Perhaps I should have been more explicit, but my point about the argument here being "very thin" and "insufficiently referenced" was two-sided. You have taken one side, fair enough in principle, that instead of deleting the article it should be expanded. But my point had another side, which I thought would have been evident to someone who read the article "Pure Theory of Law", that Kelsen's "basic norm" concept is already discussed much better in that article. That is why I proposed that the present article be replaced with a redirect to that article. It is still my view that the present article requires not simply expansion but, if it remains, a complete rewrite. Let's see what others may think. -- Wikiain ( talk) 01:34, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
