Affirmed by the Court?

There's a note in this case about the Court being equally divided during an affirmation:

Affirmed by an equally divided Court January 6, 1958. Rehearing granted, judgment vacated and case restored to calendar for reargument May 26, 1958. Reargued October 21-22, 1958.

I'm not sure if this means there are actually two decide dates or not. -- MZMcBride ( talk) 05:39, 16 August 2009 (UTC) reply
