I returned synonyms to the introductory paragraph. It's important for research/learning that synonyms be collected in a predictable fashion. In WP that seems to be in bold text, in the introductory paragraph. At least one of the synonyms (aoudad) I have seen used in English, but I'm also not sure that it would be useful to exclude names even if their use in English is unproven. Obviously there can be clutter issues, so it's a matter of striking the right balance. ENeville ( talk) 16:58, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
A range map would be very useful here. Hoping that someone who has the tools can make one. Bruinfan12 ( talk) 00:06, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
The Barbary sheep is an actual species in its own right, whereas the Barbari goat is but a breed manufactured by selective breeding. Thus they are not the same thing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.13.233.204 ( talk) 19:05, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
Drive by question here, since the "barbary ram screams like a man" video is viral right now. Discussions on the youtube video page are venturing into whether the call the ram is making is abnormal (i.e. due to confinement in a zoo) or is it a normal vocalization? Didn't know where else to post this, perhaps someone associated with this page has access to such info? 66.182.212.7 ( talk) 03:47, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
