In the recent article for deletion discussion it seemed like there was significant interest in moving this into a broader topic. Can we decide where it should go? Barack Obama on National Security maybe? 0x0077BE [ talk/ contrib] 18:44, 8 March 2014 (UTC)
This article seems very lacking in information. There are mountains of information missing. One thing I find troubling is the mention of the patriot act. Mass surveillance has nothing to do with the patriot act. Why are we confusing people trying to make that connection. Has any one in Obama's administration ever suggested that his mass surveillance program is related to the patriot act? Anyone who is fully versed in Obama's mass surveillance program and the patriot act will tell you there is no connection. There are plenty of pages on the patriot act, I just don't see the need to confuse people. We should remove the patriot act section and add a link for it to the see also section. This should be added to a legacy section.
