The photograph shows an entrance into the lagoon. Thus the statement about salt water possibly entering during high tide is irrelevant or even misleading, as the lagoon is directly salt water (with maybe brackishness from fresh water running into it). Unless it means that the rising tide also moves into the lagoon. So is a barachois a bar that does not totally cut off the lagoon? -- Richardson mcphillips ( talk) 23:32, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
