The article needs citations before it'll qualify as A-Class; they're a sine qua non for high-quality articles now. Kirill Lokshin 12:50, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
Unless I'm very much mistaken, this article doesn't cite any sources for the facts about Imperial Russia. I've tagged it as unsourced, I'll try to find sources myself but obviously the original author is better placed to do this. Fysidiko 12:13, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
In the introducing paragraph of the chapter "Imperial Russia", the article writes: Specially for this fleet, a navigation school was opened in Saint Petersburg in 1701.
I wonder, how can one open a school in a city which doesn't exist? In 1701 the delta of Neva was part of Swedish Ingria and uninhabited. SPb was established in May 1703, only after Peter the Great conquered the area. -- Panagiotis botsis ( talk) 07:00, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
It seems (to me at least) that Russian article titles in the references section read as total gibberish. Am I the only one in that case? I'm not fluent enough in Russian to correct it, though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.193.213.209 ( talk) 14:02, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Yes, but only link to militera.lib.ru in the end of article. Maybe wrong code page used. It must be "Боевой путь советского военно-морского флота" (Battle way of Soviet military fleet). Im Russian so no doubt - this is mistake. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.234.7.202 ( talk) 20:33, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
There was another event that had sunk into the soul and his colleagues Solomatova: 1963 336th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the division ( 120th Guards Motor Rifle Division) was reorganized as the 336th Separate Guards Bialystok Marine Regiment in the Baltic Fleet, and relocated to the city Baltiysk, becoming the first regiment Marines resurgent modern navy. Now bear with Baltiysk 336th Separate Guards brigade of marines. "Keep in touch, and are proud of our colleagues. Meet periodically in Rogachev, Orel, Nefteyugansk, "- says the veteran. I have provided some updates to the Fleet Order of Battle as of 2020, at least based on what is available from English-language sources. Please feel free to update if more up-to-date information is available. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.49.98.230 ( talk) 20:24, 4 September 2020 (UTC)

It is wrong to suggest the entire Baltic Fleet is (or should we now say, was) quartered at Kaliningrad and Pillau. It is possible the writers of this article are unaware of geography. Kaliningrad city is on a river and ship canal. There is no port there. just some minor docks. At Pillau there are more facilities and a small harbour on the other side of one of the breakwaters. Whether this could accommodate a "fleet" is very doubtful. My understanding is that the units of the Baltic Fleet which used to use Pillau have now left. 2A00:23C4:B617:7D01:C9F2:8C23:16A6:EA4F ( talk) 10:33, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
