Some users confused modern Turkish form with their original name. But this is complete misunderstanding. Baltacı Mehmet Paşa is nothing but modern Turkish alternative name of him. And most of scholars prefer Mehmed rather than Mehmet. This inclination holds true for other Mehmed, Ahmed, Reshid, etc. who lived in the Ottoman period. Thank you.
