Maps seem to agree it is Ballynacarrigy in English and give Baile na Carraige (Homestead on the rocks) or Béal na Carraige (Mouth of the rocks) as the Irish name. But:
The sign on the R393 says Ballynacargy.
Tourist notice-boards in the village also use Ballynacargy.
