I think I sorted that out a few weeks ago. Digifiend ( talk) 09:48, 8 May 2009 (UTC) reply

Strange head shape

The original version of this character had an oddly shaped head, a bit like two rugby balls stuck together. Does anybody know why this was and should the detail be included in the article? PortholePete ( talk) 11:10, 9 April 2022 (UTC) reply

Do you have any source for this? I've just checked the 1977 annual, which would have been made roughly around the character's debut, and his head is normal (for a cartoon character) there Eopsid ( talk) 21:18, 9 April 2022 (UTC) reply
Here's an example: http://www.greatnewsforallreaders.com/blog/2017/12/31/on-this-day-31-december-1977-the-beano

Thanks for the example, its the same design as the one in the annual I was looking at. It doesn't look "that odd" to me, well not for a cartoon character anyway. I dont really see the two rugby balls either. It might be worth adding to the article about how the character was redesigned by different artists though. I like the Keyhole Kate reference in your username. Eopsid ( talk) 16:49, 10 April 2022 (UTC) reply
