Foundation of formal Bulgarian

The standard Bulgarian language is not identical to the Balkan dialects but it is indeed based on them, that's what "many features of Standard Bulgarian derive from the Western Bulgarian dialects, including the Macedonian dialects, or are a compromise between Eastern and Western standard" means.
