The contents of the BMW K75 page were merged into BMW K100 on 2015-03-06 and it now redirects there. For the contribution history and old versions of the merged article please see its history. |
Does the BMW K75 or BMW K100 justify a separate article? I would say no -- and would recommend that the K75 and K100 (and whatever else may apply) be moved to the BMW motorcycles article in the K Series section. ( Wiki writer 22:08, 17 June 2006 (UTC))
10-19-06: I own a 1992 K75S with 54,000 miles on it. K75/K100 have been out of production for more than 10 years. The 3 cylinder engine of the K75 has not been carried forward into any other model in the BMW line. The K75/100 share the same basic frame and transmission etc, so I think it makes sense to keep them together. They should be added as a sub-catagory to BMW motorcycles.

I made some minor stylistic edits in keeping with house "encyclopedia" style.
I also removed some editorial comment that belonged on this page. I had meant to move it, but my clipboard lost it. Oops. Sorry, whoever you were that left it; and thanks for your work on the page. Mrrhum 16:30, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
This article was nominated for merging with BMW K100 on 28 September 2014. The result of the discussion was to merge. |
