Why does this article link to Peter Dens? He was a Catholic theologian and doesn't have anything to do with the subject of this article.
I have proposed this merge, between the 'ossification' page and this article, because:
No reason for these pages to be separate; having the dens displayed on the same page gives more context to the information and will likely improve the quality of the information on both pages by removing duplication; additionally improves the readability for readers and reduces needless fragmentation LT910001 ( talk) 23:33, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
I would say "dens" (as used in this article) is singular. Wiktionary also says that the plural of "dens" is "dentes". Still, the article uses "dens" as if it’s plural. What can be taken as a good reference to determine this question?-- Geke ( talk) 15:14, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
