I've tried to expand a bit on Leijonhufvud's differences with Keynesian economics. I'll try to add more biographical material later and any help with that would be great.

Yes, it looked strange to me too. But it appears to be true. In the Snowdon interview (
link) Leijonhufvud says "When I left Northwestern in 1963, at the end of two years, I had already written my thesis proposal." (p. 3); "After Northwestern I got a fellowship to go to the Brookings Institution for a year (1963-4)" (p. 4), "By then (1966) I had been at UCLA for two years" (p. 5). Also, his CV has him as "Acting" Assistant Professor during the period 1964-1967. --

Professor Leijonhufvud's name isn't the kind of thing English speakers see every day. It would be nice to have a sound file or IPA pronunciation or whatever.
