Currently there is this general navtemplate, which includes the Russian car manufacturers:
I think, however, there is some point in creating a separate Template:Automotive industry of Russia, which will include both Russian manufacturers and Russian automobile brands. GreyHood Talk 20:41, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
The only figure I could find about the number of employees in the industry is from 2005. Presumably, the number has risen a lot since then. Do you happen to know a newer number? Offliner ( talk) 12:25, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
The article has improved a lot recently, but I'd still like to do a few things before it gets to main page (via WP:DYK).
I'm somewhat unsure about the scope of this article - does "automotive industry" include the production of tractors and other heavy machinery that moves on wheels or tracks? If yes, lots of the machine building sector could be included here. Or perhaps we need a separate Machine building in Russia article? Nanobear ( talk) 11:01, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
It is stated more than once that Russia is the 15th car producer and responsible for 7% of the world production. It suggests that world production is at least 105%. Now, of course I can understand it is a approximation, but the result is still not as clear as it could be. Moreover, the source is broken. Frohfroh ( talk) 22:11, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
