This article may be derived from the unreliable Encyclopedia Mythica ( [1]). It is problematic because it describes Auparu as belonging to Rarotonga, but mentions Menehune - and Menehune are found only in the traditions of Hawaii, thousands of kilometers distant from Rarotonga, and separated by language, history and culture.
