Anyone know the names of the garbage man's daughter and her rich girlfriend? Is it Muffy? --Ed
Name of Perky's owner Mrs??? -- Maoririder 20:25, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
Is that a misprint? I thought she was just a normal girl. Are all the Arthur characters animals? -- Contrib 17:43, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
So Muffy is really a orangutan? -- Contrib 18:53, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Is it worth noting that Finnish folk musicians Värttinä make an appearence in the episode "Meet Binky"?
What is Fern, Gena, Prunella, Sue Ellen, or any other characters you can think and could you say what type of animal that they are? I might also be good if they could fit in the "Arthur" article some how. -- Contrib 18:56, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)==Brain celebrats Kwanzaa?== Brain celebrates Kwanzaa and George the moose celebrates the feast of Santa Lucia. Prunella, I am pretty sure, is a rat.

What're the names of Arthur's neighbours, the mexican family in the series?
they're the Molinas, and they're not mexican they are from ecuador
You're a REAL fishhead, Fishhead. Some people don't have user names. Including me.
When Francine has to meet the new neighbor what is the women's name? -- Maoririder 18:12, 27 July 2005 (UTC) The furniture movers I think are ducks who is right? Ducks or Platapi? -- Maoririder 18:19, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
Her name is Mrs. Perrazo or something close to that.
"*In D.W Goes to Washington, all traces of "It's like a dream come true." is simply "It is wonderful" in closed captions. "
Arthur is broadcasted in the US with two caption tracks according to WGBH [2]. There's a standard captioning track, and a simplified caption track for younger audiences who're just starting to learn how to read or have trouble figuring out what is being said. The Simpsons article makes mention that 'Arthur' is a TV show particularly noted and criticised for lifting its storylines from the Simpsons. I came to this article, interested to learn more but found nothing on the topic. Could someone in the know perhaps make a section for this? I'm pretty sure that at least some of the traffic to this article is coming to learn about this link/criticism. MagicBez 16:11, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
Arthur often borrows plots and lines from pop culture and other TV shows, such as the Hitchhiker's Guide, South Park, and the Sopranos to name a few.
As far as I know, it was never mentioned on the show. So I removed it from the list. RAMChYLD 10:21, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
Hey! April doesn't exist. She is never mentioned at all. So don't put that name back.

1. This is the biggest one --- the voice that comes on that says "Hello, Love Ducks" and "Goodbye, Love Ducks" is highly resemblant of the voice on Teletubbies that says "Hello, Tinky Winky. Hello, Dipsy." etc. etc.
2. Another super-big one --- the individual love ducks are the same colors as the teletubbies.
3. The general look and appearance of the series is Teletubbies-ish.
Just because it doesn't say "Teletubbies" anywhere on the show itself *doesn't* mean they aren't Teletubbie based.
--Agent0042 16:36 29 December 2005 (EST)
This will still be disputed because they might say goodbye and same colors it still does not make sense to call love ducks a teletubbies based television show just my opinion!

i or anyone should not be called a baby if they watch arthur. ike is on me about me watching arthur what iam a baby. come on.
I have a simple explanation. It may or may not be a teletubbies parody. In the episode "The Secret Life of Dogs and Babies", they have an obvios parody to the teletubbies, complete with a face in the sun and everything.
Who is Toby from the arthur kids show? Any evidence? April I still believe should be there maybe her name is not april but a rabbit girl is seen along with t-rex kid at rainbow rock national park or red rock? But who is Toby ASAP?

RAMChYLD, that "fake info" you deleted about Molly and Arthur having a secret friendship, and you claiming that there was never such an episode. Actually, there was such an episode. It happened in "Arthur Makes Waves", from the 9th season. Of course, that bit of continuity probably won't be mentioned again in any proceeding episodes.
Also, Marina Detilo's last name was mentioned on the show too. In the 9th season episode "Three's a Crowd" (Prunella referred to Marina's mom as Mrs. Detilo).
Just wondering, have you seen any of the season 9 episodes yet? But it's still a pretty new season, so it's understandable if your TV station didn't air it yet. -- Roabe 17:48, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
I checked it --- it's "Datillo" according to the close-captioning. Agent0042 23:21 EST 30 December 2005
Special thanks to Carol Greenwald, who has just come through with the following information:
"The good news is that there are new Arthur episodes for this spring, probably late April/early May. And, we just managed to scrape together enough funding to do 10 more Postcards from Buster episodes that will air next fall. We weren't so sure that Buster was going to survive the brouhaha last year, but many small foundations came through with generous support and so we're back in production."

Way back when, in 2001, I wrote a synopsis of the Arthur story "Arthur's Almost Live Not Real Music Festival" at the ECDC. One of the songs in there is "Leftovers Goulash," which is also available on the first album. This tune features several classical music pieces. I identified one of them succesfully as Amadeus Mozart's "Allegro" and another as Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody #2." But can anyone help me to identify the remaining classical music in this piece?
These lyrics are obviosly Mozart's Eina Cliena Nacht Music:"Nothing rare and nothing soupy, nothing slippery and nothing gloopy. Nothing mashed and nothing steamed, and nothing runny with eyes and feet that smells and wiggles when you touch it, that's gross, AND NOTHING CREAMED!"
I edited the info to say that it airs on PBSKids in the United States and on the CBC in Canada. I might add more info on international airings later, or if anyone else wants too?

I noticed on the Arthur article that an anonymous user posted something called "Domino's Pizza commercial" or something like that ... it also said it aired in October 2006. But we're only in the wake of February! Is this a fake, or is it saying that the bunny-girl will be featured in a DP commercial? Then, if its is, it would be less confusing to say "it will air in Oct. 2006" than "it aired in Oct. 2006". Janet 14:36, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
I noticed someone has edited the page so that Arthur's family appears in a separate subsection.
