Looks like, Firefox & Internet Explorer web browser, rendering the U+21A8 unicode character wrongly. This character inside the next bracket (↨) is obtained through the hex html code ↨. But actual character looks like the character inside this bracket (
). It is a "Up Down Arrow With Base". ~

If somebody could find some information about the history of the arrow, that would be really awesome. I was just wondering about it. ~Sartas Regem

I've recently swapped the physical symbol/text representations of ⇟ and ⇞ because they were backwards. There is likely a syntax error somewhere in this table that has been overlooked. It's really confusing... it seems like the problem might be within Firefox 3.0...
I fixed the problem for me but if these two symbols are now swapped on a different browser, please swap them back... TIM KLOSKE| TALK 17:57, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

The North West Arrow To Long Bar's image was altered to a different graphic perhaps for a different article. When this alteration occurred the image size went up to 99px. This new graphic doesn't quite look like the image that is rendered by browsers. Should the old graphic be restored?

The arrow "➔" (U+2794 ➔ HEAVY WIDE-HEADED RIGHTWARDS ARROW) redirects to this article page. But while it is indeed an arrow, it falls under the Unicode block for Dingbats (see Dingbats). Either the arrow "➔" should redirect to that page, or this article should be expanded to include the other Unicode blocks in which arrows can be found, starting with {{ Unicode chart Dingbats}}. Two arrow symbols I was taught at university were:
"going away from you" = a circle with a cross in it. i.e. looks like the back end of an arrow going way from you.
"coming towards you" = a circle with a dot at the centre i.e looks like front pointy end of an arrow coming towards you.
