Considering that the official ARMA 3 main website http://www.arma3.com/ says that the release is '2012 Q4' the release date sounds bogus even with the citation, can someone clear this up? I have also found sources that indicate a summer release but I believe those are far outdated — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.61.170.152 ( talk) 00:22, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Release date is still listed as "2013" and not "March 2013". If the release date/month/etc had really been announced, it would have been covered in more than 1 publication, would have been covered in more languages, and would have shown up on the company website. As of right now none of these condition exists.

I apologise for the seemingly never-ending edits.Apart from some typos that took me many readings to find and correct ,I couldn't find out what was I doing wrong with the reference syntax(even thought I even retreated to the sandbox for some time);I must had be blinded for a while... :).But it's now finished.I think...:)
P.S.Btw I've now copied the section 99.999% verbatim to the
Bohemia Interactive article.

The information written about the Lemnos arrests as it is now should not be included, it's based on primarily false facts and Greek media propaganda, they've taken names and details of a perfectly legal, perfectly non-intrusive research session from 2010/2011 as posted on Bohemia's own blog and twisted it into a false record of fact which someone from Greece has quoted verbatim, considering the ongoing legal issues involved wiki should not be including anything until it's confirmed by multiple sources, not just a Greek bias from the Greek media. The only thing that's 100% known and confirmed is that two Bohemia Interactive employees were arrested on the island of Lemnos, anything else is false, harmful and distressing. OK again just for the record;PlaceboPRS (an new editor who started editing
here after and about the incident) raged against alleged Greek media propaganda and false facts.
I'm not certain what this they've taken names and details of a perfectly legal, perfectly non-intrusive research session from 2010/2011 as posted on Bohemia's own blog and twisted it into a false record of fact which someone from Greece has quoted verbatim means;if it means that the Greek machine somehow managed to alter googlecache copy records et cetera or even more then simply lol...</bt>
Now let's see who PlaceboPRS might be :

I read the first paragraph that says set in mid 2030's then the second paragraph says its the game occurs 25 years after Arma 2, in 2035, ... This is confusing because it makes it sound like Arma 2 took place in 2035 not that 25 years after Arma 2 Arma 3 occurs on 2035. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nanolicious ( talk • contribs) 23:26, 8 March 2016 (UTC)

New big DLC/Expansion was announced - Contact DLC. However overall I'd like to do some work on the DLC section as whole. Some DLCs that brought fairly big changes to the game as a platform update are barely one-liners. ThePointForward / talk 18:59, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
EDIT: Added Contact DLC, will look into making the DLC section better. ThePointForward / talk 19:34, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
EDIT 2: Reworked some of the DLC sections, found out they were gutted on 2019-01-01 - while the original version was indeed bloated and under-sourced, the newer version was bad too, as it was stubby, missed noteworthy information and at times had false information as a result of aggressive shortening.
If anyone has an issue with it please post about it here in Talk section first. ThePointForward / talk 13:52, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
The Contact DLC campaign has a really interesting plot for the most part, different from the rest of the campaigns. I'd like to see that be added eventually.

Article now claims Linux and MacOS versions are available. Looks like this is not the case. The pinned thread on Steam discussion forum indicates those ports were announced and in beta testing, but have since been cancelled. The pinned thread .
