Ariana is first mentioned in chapter 2 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, called Dumbledore's Obituary. The aforementioned obituary was written by written by Elphias Doge, and not, as the article suggests, during the summary for Rita Skeeter's book.
I'm adding a notability template to this... I'm not sure where but this most definitely needs to be merged somewhere else. I cannot see how a relatively minor character in one book justifies her own article. PageantUpdater 11:23, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Minor? Minor? Have you even read the book? What happened to her shapeds the entire book. It was what caused AB to become good and to put Harry through hardship so that he wouldn't make his mistake. She was very important but she was rarely mentioned.
