I wonder about the definition of the term architectural plan. I guess this term could have multiple meaning:
I also guess this article (I designed) should make more clear what meaning it wants explain. -- Marcel Douwe Dekker ( talk) 00:20, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
I have undone the proposed merge between Architectural plan and Architectural drawing for now because I think the merge didn't work out well. I would like (some time) to improve this article, and if this doesn't work, it can still be merged. -- Marcel Douwe Dekker ( talk) 01:32, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

I've a bit of a problem with some of the images in the gallery - some of them are elevations and some are perspectives. Can anyone give me a good reason not to delete them? Sometimes Incoherent ( talk) 11:56, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

It appears that this article is not based on a clear understanding and definite scope of the meaning of the term architectural plan, including a scattered collection of statements with the word plan or planning in them but no coherent overview. The references are all local planning authority guides and are all now broken links, except the definition which is lifted word for word from Wordnet: (n) plan, architectural plan (scale drawing of a structure) "the plans for City Hall were on file" ( http://wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=architectural%20plan). The first thing to make clear is that 'plan' used in this context is not the same as plan view but is a possibly colloquial term for scale drawing. The scope may duplicate that of Plan (drawing) and one or the other may need to be adopted as the definitive guide to the subject. Finally far too many illustrations, some of them not plans by any definition. ProfDEH ( talk) 17:22, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

This page has languished at least since 2014 with no edits and no clear purpose. I think only a redirect will resolve this - I've tried to come up with a rationale for the existence of the page but there doesn't seem to be one. If the term means anything it means an architectural drawing, and there are other pages that cover every aspect of the subject. ProfDEH ( talk) 09:26, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
