This a titular diocese after the end of the Kingdom of Jerusalem

Please, note that this archdicese is a titular one and the Archbishop of Petra in Palestina is a titular archbishop,who usually servs in the Roman Curia. Nowadays the Archeparchy of Petra and Filadelfia of the Melkites is the existing one and has eclessiastical jurisdiction over this place. Drjmarkov ( talk) 09:12, 21 January 2008 (UTC) reply
