A recently created article at archaeological heritage of Armenia duplicates this one. There's no semantic difference between the "archaeology of" and "archaeological heritage of" a single country. Archaeology of Armenia is the better title per WP:CONCISE and because we have lots of Archaeology of... articles but no other Archaeological heritage of... articles.
Pinging Clarityfiend who suggested this at AfD and Klbrain who objected to the merge tag. – Joe ( talk) 08:27, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
the merge proposal can be further discussed in the article's talk page. I don't see this as a controversial suggestion, so I didn't see the need to ping the whole world about it, but happy to @ TheLonelyPather, Orchastrattor, Chiswick Chap, Archives908, and CycloneYoris: as the other participants in the AfD, if that's what you prefer.
if the preceding merge proposal was ambiguous, hopefully this one won't be. Armenian archaeology has existed since 2015 and only been edited 32 times in 9 years. the scope is exactly the same as this article, and the quality is significantly worse. practically speaking, this won't be too difficult of a merge, since the majority of the article is unsourced and what's cited can be transferred to this article. ... sawyer * he/they * talk 16:59, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
