Per Template:Infobox NFL biography and Wikipedia:WikiProject National Football League I've seen no information stating that a player has to play a game to not be denoted as an offseason-only member of the team. In addition to that, I've seen dozens of examples over the years of players who have had short stints with teams during the regular season not playing a game but are still considered to be regular season players. Furthermore, the key at the bottom says nothing of playing a game, purely that the player is either practice squad or offseason-only.

User:Rockchalk717 - I've reverted your removal of information. I understand that AB has made comments in the past and walked them back, but the information is a direct quote from AB (and it is referenced) - so "speculation" is not in play here. If others feel that we should remove it then I'll abide by consensus, but given that it's been 2 years since he even played - I think "retirement" is an acceptable declaration. If he "un-retires", it can also be added in the future. Saying that he will return because he has in the past - now THAT is speculation. I'm not saying it can't happen, but we can address it the same way we've documented the Brett Farve article. — Ched ( talk) 00:31, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

AP says Brown is off Tampa Bay - that should be good enough for Wikipedia:
"EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Antonio Brown was apparently frustrated and angry. So he walked away.
From the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And possibly his NFL career.
The mercurial wide receiver was kicked off the Buccaneers after a bizarre, shirtless exit from the field before Tom Brady coolly led the Bucs on a 93-yard drive in the final minutes for a 28-24 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday.
Coach Bruce Arians said after the game Brown was off the team.
“He is no longer a Buc,” Arians said. “All right? That’s the end of the story. Let’s talk about the guys who went out there and won the game.” Micromis ( talk) 03:57, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
Antonio Brown was cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after refusing to enter the game against the Jets in week 17 of the 2021 regular season. Coach Bruce Arians told him to leave after refusing to enter twice. He then took off his jersey and helmet, threw them against the stand, balled up his shirt, threw it into the stands, and left the game. 2603:9000:8A02:A34D:914E:B953:9031:E812 ( talk) 06:21, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

Antonio Brown's middle name is incorrect, I am a family friend and just so happen to pull up his Wikipedia page in front of his mother. She informed me the middle name on his page is incorrect, on the behalf of his mother she request you change the middle name to his correct name which is Sharmoly, that is also the name of his grand father. Please accept this request from us, as we just want to make things right. Thank you 2601:285:C181:9710:2C14:C676:BE9C:92B9 ( talk) 18:16, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
The following does not flow well "During the Buccaneers 28–24 win over the New York Jets, Brown took his jersey, shoulder pads, glove, and shirt off and ran off the field into the locker room during the third quarter with the Buccaneers down 10–24 in the third quarter." The language should be modified in the 2021 subsection to reflect the detailed series of events as described below:
During the third quarter with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers trailing the New York Jets 10 - 24, Antonio Brown began to act erraticly on the sideline while teammate Mike Evans attempted to deescalate the situation. Brown became even more outlandish and began removing his football jersey, pads, gloves and additional gear and toss it into the staduum stands. Brown then waved good-bye to the fans as he headed towards the locker room. Postgame media covereage discovered that Brown and Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians were in disagreement about Brown reentering the game as Brown was indicating his ankle was sore (Brown had sprained the ankle the past week). Upon Arians indicating Brown should sit the rest of the game out is when Brown began his outburst. [1]
Should his status change to free agent because of his release confirmed by coach Bruce Arians? 65.36.113.232 ( talk) 18:14, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
May I suggest that I'm not the only person on the internet to have noticed a causation between that hit in the Wild Card game, and Brown's erratic behavior since then. Is that something that should be considered when mentioning on this page what's become of his life, or is that purely conjecture and possibly harmful conjecture at that? ekedolphin ( talk) 23:19, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
Antonio Brown still with Bucs despite assertions to the contrary
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/antonio-brown-with-bucs-despite-assertions-contrary
Fox News trying to imply that the Buccaneers may end up keeping Brown, which is ridiculous, simply because they have not gone through the complex process of cutting him/waiving him just yet.. this was the number three headline on their mobile app.. felt this was worth noting because there was earlier mention about the wording of the article here in talk that Brown indeed had/has not been removed from the team. Toastt21 ( talk) 07:31, 4 January 2022 (UTC)

Current edit says he left Tampa Bay near the end of 2021. His actions resulting in his leaving occurred January 2, 2022. 72.255.194.44 ( talk) 05:05, 9 January 2022 (UTC)
That kind of language is typically reserved for players who were on a team that won a Super Bowl but didn't contribute much to it, such as backup quarterbacks. Brown caught five passes and scored a touchdown in the game.
On the other hand,
Why is Brown getting the backup quarterback treatment? The sentence should read "he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with whom he won Super Bowl LV," or something similar. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Somarain ( talk • contribs) 05:54, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

The above line is gossip like and does not seem notable, the point of this portion of the article it is linking to his talking about shady business dealings and unpaid fees, the farting thing is a throw-away sentence, it is longer in the wikipedia article then it is in the original article and not a notable event. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 39.110.218.200 ( talk • contribs)

Shouldn't the Antonio Brown include a list of his recent rap tracks with info about featured artists. And Some info about his rap career. It just suprising that he has been advertising his rap tracks on Twitter for about 2 months now and this page doesn't mention it much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexrstone ( talk • contribs) 17:54, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
Make it so it says he is currently a free agent and get rid of the numbers in his personal box and replace them with free agent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bears247 ( talk • contribs) 01:32, 10 March 2020 (UTC)

There is no evidence Antonio Brown was a qualifier for the state track meet. Results from the FHSAA do not show his name anywhere. Also, his high school has never won the 4x100m at the state meet 140.228.15.1 ( talk) 01:25, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Can there be a notice about a reported roster move or something? Bruce Arians has stated he is "no longer a buc", and multiple news outlets have reported it, however it has not yet been confirmed. Thank You. Jacksonisamazin ( talk) 21:45, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
Just because Bruce Arians cited Antonio Brown being no longer on the team doesn’t mean it is entirely accurate. I would refrain from adding a template until we get more information. Mastergerwe97 ( talk) 21:47, 2 January 2022 (UTC)

Technically Toastt21, right now he is still a member, who is essentially not allowed to play, much like what is going on with Deshaun Watson. BigRed606 ( talk) 23:41, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
