The article Ammonites (Book of Mormon) is redundant with this one, it should be merged with this article. In the Book of Mormon text, the Anti-Nephi-Lehies changed their name to the People of Ammon, but it is the same group of people. Having two different pages adds to the confusion. Totally agree here, except for one thing: the names Ammonites and Anti-Nephi-Lehites were used interchangeably and one didn't really come after the other. PeanutHat ( talk) 06:20, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
The LDS Church just finished its sunday school section on these topics. It is fairly clear that Anti-Nephi-Lehies had more page views than Ammonites, therefore I have merged Ammonites into the Anti-Nephi-Lehies article. Epachamo ( talk) 16:20, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
This is a radically improved article and I thank Epachamo for all the work put into it. I can't see a merge now. Doug Weller talk 17:53, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
