Note that the
Las Vegas Sun article (obituary) of September 23, 1997 claims that Franchini played fiddle on Williams' "Your Cheatin' Heart." This is not corroborated by any other sources. Further, the article itself states that Franchini's tenure with Williams ended in in 1951, before the September 1952 recording. I will attempt to discover if Michel Ruppli's MGM discography makes any mention of a "Tony Zachary" on fiddle/violin.
