I think she's notable for these reasons: her books are well-reviewed, she is considered a consulting expert on several news outlets, such as CNN, she is a current, contributing author for the Huff Post. Also, she is written up widely in the news and various library and school journals.

However.... I am having trouble finding unbiased biographical information about her. In addition, it looks as though someone close to her has added information to the article.
