The citations support the statement deleted, and I have restored it.

There is a line in this which says - :He later adopted the name Anna, which in Marathi means "elder person" or "father". Anna means elder brother. There need not be any citation for that. and the word Anna in all the dravidian languages means elder brother. It is such a common word and asking for citation is like asking for word meaning. (
