==CORRECT Ethnic Background== GLAMOUR magazine April 2000 issue Angie Harmon's father is IRISH and Cherokee, NOT FULL CHEROKEE I made a mistake earlier in Angie Harmon background. Her father is IRISH and Cherokee NOT half German like I thought. I just re-checked my Glamour magazine article. I have the April 2000 issue of Glamour and father is Irish and Native American, not full Native American. Her mother is Greek. From p. 288 of Glamour "For Harmon, celebrity was in the stars. An only child, Harmon was born to a Greek mother and a Cherokee and Irish father in Dallas in 1972. Both her parents were models in the Lone Star State--and before she was out of her diapers, Harmon was doing ads for baby products." I am from her hometown, Dallas, TX, and my best friend's sister went to the same high school. Her sister was a year older than Angie. I added "Irish" in the Early Life section, and added Irish-American to the Categories. Whomever keeps changing the article to make it seem as if her full Cherokee needs to STOP. I have provided a source. There is no online link however. -- CreativeSoul7981 ( talk) 04:51, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
Here is the source again (easier to read here): Jenson, Wendy. "Time for the...Glamourous Actress Reality Check." Glamour Apr. 2000: 288+. Quote from article: "For Harmon, celebrity was in the stars. An only child, Harmon was born to a Greek mother and a Cherokee and Irish father in Dallas in 1972. I don't think she has German ancestry. The citation for her ancestry has an explicit quote that says "half Greek half Native". There's an article out there that said her father is part Native and her mother German - but they obviously made a mistake between "German" and "Greek" - that's how I think the whole German ancestry thing got started. The term HARMONY derives from the GREEK ἁρμονία (HARMONIA), meaning "joint, agreement, concord", from the verb ἁρμόζω (HARMOZO), "to fit together, to join". The term was often used for the whole field of music, while "music" referred to the arts in general. In ANCIENT GREEK, the term defined the combination of contrasted elements: a higher and lower note. Nevertheless, it is unclear whether the simultaneous sounding of notes was part of ancient Greek musical practice; "HARMONIA" may have merely provided a system of classification of the relationships between different pitches. In the Middle Ages the term was used to describe two pitches sounding in combination, and in the Renaissance the concept was expanded to denote three pitches sounding together. 121.222.48.84 ( talk) 05:23, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
HARMONY was introduced to the English language (as well as other languages) in 1532. 121.222.48.84 ( talk) 05:27, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
Could the picture on Abbie_Carmichael be used? It's not the best picture, but it's better than what's on this article now (nothing). 71.61.81.160 17:14, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Does anybody know if Angie Harmon is Mark Harmon's sister?

I noticed while watching some 30 Rock DVDs that Angie Harmon has been mentioned (in passing) by Alec Baldwin's character a number times. In itself, that's not notable enough to merit inclusion in the article, but does anyone know if there's an underlying reason why her name is repeated? Does she have some kind of history with any of the stars or producers of 30 Rock, similar to how Kevin Smith is frequently mentioned on Entourage? Aoystreck ( talk) 03:26, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
Apart from being very poorly written (changes in tense, and a lack of general clarity), this doesn’t seem to merit a special mention when there is already a career section. It doesn’t even say where the production was, how long it ran or basic information. Jock123 ( talk) 17:23, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
{{editsemiprotected}} The request for citation on the marriage proposal by Seahorn on Jay Leno's show was seen by many people, including myself. Obtaining that show would provide the citation required. Angie's father appeared as he knew Jason was planning to propose on the show and apparently had given his permission.

Angie is not Mark Harmon's sister. Angie is an only child. Her mothers name is Daphne Caravegli. Both her parents were models in the 70's and 80's, however not only in Texas. Her mother was one of the top runway models ever employed by the Kim Dawson modeling agency in Dallas. She frequently traveled to Milan, Paris, and New York to name just a few cities. Angie however is estranged from her mother. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Oaklawnboy3209 ( talk • contribs) 03:26, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
March 13, 2000 was simply the date that the proposal episode aired, it was recorded on 14th October 1998. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.109.72.78 ( talk) 21:18, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
I sincerely doubt Jason Sehorn proposed on 10/14/1998 as he married his first wife on 2/14/1998. That would be a bit creepy to propose before you were even divorced. Mylittlezach ( talk) 19:57, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

Article of the 2003 movie Agent Cody Banks mentions that Harmon "had just come off a three-year stint as Assistant D.A". This article, however, doesn't seem to mention that. Could anyone add that info, plus find a source? Thanks! Mateussf ( talk) 21:58, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
