As far as notability goes, he's directed four films, at least two of which received major press recognition (Reefer Madness and She's the Man), and at least one of which did extremely well at the box office (the latter). The Midland Reporter Telegram citation is a stub from their archive and does not have the full article. It should be replaced with a link from the Jewish World Herald ^[1].
