Hardness

GIA states the hardness for Andradite at 6.5 to 7, whereas Mindat states 6.5 to 7.5. It would be good to clarify which is in fact correct. SauliH 16:43, 23 January 2007 (UTC) reply

Webmineral states it as 6.5-7 also, I changed the body text to agree with this - otherwise article would be self-contradictory. If this can be further clarified that would be great. SauliH 16:50, 23 January 2007 (UTC) reply

Merge Proposal

I placed a merge proposal on melanite, as it is a color based variety with not other distinguishing feature other then it is dark brown to black. As such it should be talked about in Andradite and the melanite page should be a redirect.-- Kevmin ( talk) 03:55, 25 July 2009 (UTC) reply

Yup, completly agree. Vsmith ( talk) 04:01, 25 July 2009 (UTC) reply
