The page seems to be a bit too much in in-universe style. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.74.219.30 ( talk) 03:54, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Text from duplicate article Andorians (now a redirect):
I checked some of my DVR'd eposides of TOS off SciFi and found at least three Andorians. I dunno where to go get the eposide numbers, though. Hopefully someone else can fill those in. I have this impression that Andorians appeared a lot more but those are the only ones I could pick out. ---- Kutulu (sig added by Cburnett)
Even though it is a fan-film, I feel it is worth noting how Starship Exeter depicts Andorians. Their homeworld makes a prominent appearance in "The Savage Empire". DrWho42 00:40, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
Is this canonical ? I don't remember any such claim in whole Enterprise, and Shran's relationship with Talas seems to suggest that they have two-person couples. Taw 18:40, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
"and were represented as having no ears, in favor of their large bony antennae located on the crown of the skull. However, this point was retconned in Enterprise."
This is wrong. Although Andorians in TOS were shown to have long hair, it was never said or implied that Andorians have no ears. The idea that they have no ears comes from several early novels. An Andorian with barely visible ears was seen in Star Trek The Motion Picture and the first Andorian with clearly visible ears was seen in Star Trek IV The Voyage Home.
Is it documented when first contact between humans and Andorians was made? MrZaius talk 21:47, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Andoria has now been canonically established as an icy moon orbiting a giant gas planet. Considering however that liquid water does not seem to be present on the surface of Andoria, how did life as we know it evolve there ? Is there liquid water underground ? Assuming all indigenous Andorian species actually evolved underground, wouldn't it be reasonable for them to have different sensory mechanisms, e.g. sonar or infrared thermal imaging, as opposed to visible light sight ? BTW, is there any light at all beneath the Andorian ice surface ? How would photosynthesis be possible in such an environment ?

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. I reorganized the article so that it is no longer in-universe. I removed content about Andorian culture, and historical events that were only mentioned briefly mentioned, as opposed to being a major plot element. Nine hundred ninety-nine ( talk) 20:29, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
I thought, and correct me if I am wrong, that there were five founding member races of the Federations. Humans (Earth), Andorians (Andor), Vulcans (Vulcan), Tellarites (Tellar), and Centaurians (Alpha Centauri).
