Ya, this is a good series, I've already read it twice. But some of the books do seem kind of rushed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.52.174.76 ( talk) 20:05, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
This was the best book series ever. It is so sad it has to end. Does anyone agree?-- I so agree!!!!!!!!!! Fiyero554 05:03, 13 January 2007 (UTC)Fiyero554
No, it wasn't a very good series at all. The best that can be said is that the author did a good job making a depressing atmosphere. —Preceding

lol, this series was probably the best I've read, and that includes a certain series written by a certain Brit about a certain boy with a certain scar. 72.229.124.71 02:22, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
I loved this series too. I liked how Margaret created a big problems and a medium problem and a small problems along the way. I would like it a lot if she would another story sequence kinda like this one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.217.95.11 ( talk) 23:14, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
In my opinion this book kind of fell flat. I really liked "Among the Brave" and "Among the Enemy". Trey's sarcastic undertone in his personal narrative was amusing to read, and he really came into his own. Matthias also came into his own in "Enemy", wrestling with some rather important personal and moral issues, as well as perceptions of collaborationism among his fellow Third Children. By contrast I think "Among the Free" was a bit weak when it came to Luke's development as a character. -- 24.80.98.153 06:57, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
I wish there was another book on how things were afterwards, but this was a great series which I enjoyed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.176.34.203 ( talk) 19:50, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
