The article on the American bullfrog is somewhat complete, with sections regarding reproduction, growth and development and feeding. However, I find the sections on reproduction and growth to be very short, with only about 3 to 5 sentences. The article does mention amplexus, an important term relating to how male amphibians grasp the female with his front legs during the mating process, there is minimal detail about the overall mating process. I would like to see more details about how female-choice is involved when females choose based on good laying sites; the article only mentions males’ calls as an attractive factor for females. The article only briefly mentions the development and habitats of the bullfrog, but spends a couple paragraphs discussing the relationship of the frog with humans. Some possible additions may include the bullfrog’s interaction with other animals as well as its own social behaviors other than mating. Although not comprehensive and lacking in overall paragraph content, the article is professionally written. Njoymusic2 ( talk) 19:49, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
