This page has been hit with some vandalism and I have a feeling it's going to increase. Is there someone who's able to protect the page? Zenphia1 ( talk) 16:42, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
Noting that users Madamepestilence and BombCraft8 are repeatedly editing the page on the basis of their own ideological speculations rather than the Party's official statements. Nowhere in ACP statements nor on their website is "MAGA Communism" mentioned and controversies surrounding "MAGA Communism" do not belong on the page.

Incorrect information about a cryptocurrency scheme, which is entirely unaffiliated with ACP, does not constitute the basis for a wikipedia edit that constitutes defamation. ACP is neither "MAGA Communist" nor "far-right." As with other parties, the information pertaining to the wikipedia page should reflect the party's own statements. These statements refer to Marxism-Leninism and it is inappropriate to speculate otherwise.
People have been claiming the party is neo-fascist and MAGA communist. The source that supposedly proves this is over a month old and never even mentions the party. It is a COMMUNIST party, and unless someone says that the party is fascist, we should keep it as communist. SSBelfastFanatic ( talk) 21:49, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
Since this page is relatively new, as is the formal announcement[?] of the American Communist Party (not to be confused with CPUSA), I think that a better option than deletion would be editing this page to a higher standard, finding more (and better) sources, and liberal use of the word allegedly until party actions can be judged on their own merits.
As a direct example, given its founder, Jackson Hinkle, self-describes himself as an, "American Conservative Marxist-Leninist," [1] which are inherently incompatible ideologies, as well as his track record of supporting Vladimir Putin in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, [2] [3] [4] [5] misinformation, disinformation, and describing himself as a, "MAGA Communist," [6] [7] [sic] it can be assumed that Hinkle is being disingenuous in his creation of a Communist party.
This is likely intended as a 5th Column to dissolve proletarian solidarity, and consequently this article should especially be observed from an objective point-of-view, taking careful care to neither have Communist nor American conservative bias - this page may also benefit from being restricted to ensure this status, as well as preventing future vandalism.

And it doesn't belong on the article.
MAGACommunism is merely the recognition that communism in the USA will likely come from the MAGA blue collar working class. Haz said so. It is at best a slogan, and at worst merely a meme.
Marxism Leninism and Deng Xiaoping Theory are more accurate representations of the positions of the ACP based on what Haz and Hinkle have previously espoused before.

Before anything I need to tell you that I don't have the technical knowledge to edit the wiki page's content and sources hence I didn't contribute. Upon checking the current sources of the article I was appalled to see that it's citing The Guardian for the political ideology instead of any primary source of which are many hours of film and writing freely available online. I would expect a documentary but I would not advocate for the removal of The Guardian citation, on the contrary.
I have seen social media pages of CPUSA chapters corroborating ACP's claims but it's most important to note for the moment that this is on the brink of happening, regardless of the outcome I think this event is noteworthy. If it turns out to be a failure it can also sit a sentence in the CPUSA page but for the moment I'm skeptical that this is just a website with a paper and some faces.
Please consider adding relevant information about it's influential members, both primary and secondary sources like their videos and text, and mainstream media, about their deeds, statements and relations, etc. Make no mistake, just like you I'm rooting from someone but above all else I expect Wikipedia to be an oasis of relevant information. As this phenomena is at the moment of writing this one day old, it requires in my opinion an environment rich in historical and contemporary context without the blatant disinformation and biased language.
If you would consider adding text and sources without prejudice please reach out to me for a fruitful collaboration towards a greater good. Hivestel ( talk) 01:33, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
This is an internet "party"/vanity project with no actual real world presence or significance. The group forms and, that same day, tries to create a wikipedia page for themselves. The references were added later today (7/22) after comments were made that references were lacking. The references that have been added are either self-referential or irrelevant (articles on Jackson Hinkle). Delete on grounds of lack of significance. Visigoth500 ( talk) 01:44, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
This group is a "ponzi scheme"/bitcoin scam as is evidenced on their website: https://memeisgame.com/acp/ Visigoth500 ( talk) 01:47, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
Please rely on primary sources from the party or it’s prominent figures You are more than free to put your opinion pieces under a controversies section 2ndary sources do not belong under the ideology section 2601:248:500:DEF0:B175:9549:34E:2930 ( talk) 02:32, 23 July 2024 (UTC)

In fact, they belong nowhere, because the ACP has not stated a position on MAGA Communism. This belongs on the wikipedia pages of self-described adherents, not political organizations which are not beholden to individual opinions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Korrektor1917 ( talk • contribs) 02:37, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
It is being reported by YouTuber Kollectiv that the ACP's claim of wide support from current and former chapters of CPUSA and PCUSA is actually not true. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iN87V-3FIOs 69.113.236.98 ( talk) 03:15, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
