This article is written in New Zealand English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, realise, analyse, centre, fiord) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus. |

The coordinates are off by some 40km. The
precision guidelines would seem to suggest a precision down to below 200m for a town less than 4km² in size, so 43°9′20″S 172°43′50″E seems about right to me. Anybody want to check my working and/or tell me how to edit the coordinates? (Do you just change them in the article, or is there some magic handshake to know when fixing geodata?) --
