Should we find a picture that maybe doesn't show her nipples? I'm not sure everyone that goes to this page wants to see boobies.
It seems clear to me that if the video had been made with the visual image of the current picture, then the wikipedia page would not exist at all, because no one would have heard of "Obama Girl".
The person in the video wears very little clothes and undulates like a stripper. That is why it became a phenomenon. Note that her previous career was "Miss Hawaiian Tropic", "Howard Stern", and Hooters, all three of which are based on - to use your word - showing her boobies.
The current picture is equivalent to having Marilyn Monroe in a burka.
There is clearly some sort of manipulation going on, but that is 24 hours a day in the Political Media and in Web 2.0 as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.127.49.139 ( talk) 19:48, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

A YouTube video was added May 7, 2008 with Obama Girl and presidential candidate, Mike Gravel called Mike Gravel Lobbies for the Obama Girl Vote. Should that be added to the article? EPM ( talk) 19:32, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
I added the following to the article:
I remember her saying this in a television interview, but couldn't find a reliable source online. I hope somebody can come up with a good citation for this fact. Capedia ( talk) 22:02, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Obama Girl redirects to this page, but O.G. is a character, while Amber Lee Ettinger is a person. I think 'twould make more sense for Obama Girl (the character) to be its own page, and I've Got a Crush... on Obama be merged into that new page. The new article could be about the character and all of her appearances, not just a single video. Fishal ( talk) 20:09, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
Maybe that would be a relevant point if she were famous for anything else. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.233.184.124 ( talk) 05:28, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
We may have an edit war brewing. An anonymous user at 79.80.39.187 put a very risqué (maybe even NSFW) image in the article. I believe it was inappropriate for an encyclopedia article. I replaced it with something more appropriate. An anonymous user at 82.127.52.21 replaced the safe image with the risqué one. I put the safe image back. I don't blame the anonymous user for liking the risqué image -- it's pretty hot -- I just don't think it's appropriate for this use. Capedia ( talk) 03:12, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
The anonymous user at 82.127.52.21 put the NSFW picture back yet again, and Catgut put the SFW picture back. This is now officially an edit war. I don't know the procedure for dealing with an edit war. What are we supposed to do? Capedia ( talk) 22:43, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Her bday was confirmed on a public chat that took place on barelypolitical.com on July 29,2008.

Hello ,in which Christian denomination is Amber Lee Ettinger? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.6.180.48 ( talk) 05:48, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
Recently she appeared on Fox News' Hannity and gave an interview with Sean Hannity. In the interview, she indicated that her 'Crush on Obama' single was done as a SNL-type joke, and that she received no recognition from the Obama campaign or (since) from the White House. She indicated that she wasn't much involved in politics but has since become disenchanted with the new Administration's policies.
