I took out the part about tele gear being heavier than AT gear. It isnt true in the Sierras, Wyoming or Utah. Most AT skiers, myself included are skiing Fritchi bindings and most tele skiers are on some form of cable binding. All that gear is comparable in weight. Yes there is lighter AT gear, but none as light as a three pin. SierraSkier 04:29, 5 March 2007 (UTC) reply
