Nice work on the tables Morbius; can I suggest that we have them in reverse chronological order, i.e. 2005, 2004, 2003 etc? Grant65 (Talk) 12:08, September 5, 2005 (UTC)
I think there should be a list of the most All-Australian guernseys, in a quick count I think the top few are: Ricciutio (8), Carey, Harvey, Buckley (7), Pavlich, Cousins, Brad Johnson (6).
Should it be mentioned that Fraser Gehrig didnt make the 2005 team in spite of winning the Coleman Medal? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.245.148.53 ( talk) 04:57, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Can I ask why, for example, there is no 1990 All-Australian Team listed here? I know there were a number of methods of selecting the teams (ie. from the Carnival until 1988) but the 1990 team (and others) are officially listed on the AFL website ( http://stats.afl.com.au/public/statistics/all_Australian/all_Australian_1990.shtml?season_idIndex=18&AFLstatisticMenu=1). The Article currently states that the origin was Sporting Life Magazine..but I do not believe that this is so. There was discussion about the concept at the 1947 Carnival and at least one journo published an All Australian Team based on that Carnival. The concept was discussed by the ANFC with the concept originating for the USA.
