Pullin's famous book Talks with Old English Cricketers is now available online here. JH ( talk page) 18:14, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
"His father, having been rector of Tintern, [1] was ordained in 1875 and moved to Yorkshire as a curate." Surely that can't have events in the right order? Shouldn't it be ordained, curate, rector? Also Swanton's description of sharing a pressbox with Pullin seems to me to be worth retaining. JH ( talk page) 10:03, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
This is a very worthwhile article; I'm pleased to see something which, although strongly themed in cricket, isn't just a career account but tells us something about the lot of the ex-cricketer a century ago, when his day was done. I think the article is still being developed, so I haven't given it a full review, but here are a few general comments/suggestions:
More generally, I think the lead will need to be expanded to meet FAC requirements, and it would be nice to have at leadt one more image. Brianboulton ( talk) 19:42, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
