I believe it is not correct to write that Gibbs' brigade became the 1st Cavalry Division. According to Boatner's Civil War Dictionary, Gibbs commanded the division for only a few days in February 1865. In my opinion, there are too many headings. I used to put a lot of headings in my own articles but editors have suggested that I get away from that. If you can get any details (who commanded the division, what did Gibbs' brigade do, what regiments made up his brigade) about the battles Gibbs' brigade fought in from other sources, that would be a nice thing to add, but not critical.
